In a nutshell...
As with all Button Bicycle workshops and classes The Joy of free motion embroidery is a friendly and relaxed workshop. The main aim of all our classes is to provide fun and enjoyment whist developing a love of something new, or a maybe little bit familiar! Come along with friends and share an experience and a giggle or come by yourself and meet new people.
The workshop will consist of a demonstration and talk about the techniques used. Participants will then have the opportunity to practice the skills by creating their own fabric collage picture.
Qualified teacher Lottie will run the workshop; she completed a textiles degree before training as a textiles teacher and working as a textiles designer and artist.
Lottie's main aim of Button Bicycle Workshops is to pass on her enjoyment and love of textiles. The classes therefore aim to be above all relaxed and enjoyable. Refreshments including tea, coffee and biscuits are served but students are welcome to bring along other drinks, for example a sneaky glass of wine (as long as it is drunk responsibly!)
